Simple nail guns use ordinary springs to generate hammering force.

The design uses a motor (powered by a battery or household AC) to rotate a dual drive shaft. The front shaft drives the small pressure plate (a) to rotate, and the pressure plate is a metal disc (b) with curved grooves. The rear-end shaft drives the gear transmission to move, which can drive the small triangular metal cam. When the button is launched, the following phenomena will occur

1. When the triangle cam rotates, push one end of the lever (c) down.

2. After the lever is rotated, push up the hammer device (d). Two springs (e) can be compressed by pushing the hammer device upwards.

3. One end of the hammer device is connected to the ball handle (f). When the control rod pushes the hammering device upwards, the rotating pressure plate buckles this handle. At the same time, the rotating cam (b) releases the lever to release the hammering device. The hammer mechanism is now buckled by the pressure plate.

4. With the rotation of the pressure plate, the hammer device is getting higher and higher, until the end is loosened.

5. Two compression springs push the hammer head device down at a higher speed. If the nails are in place, the hammer device will shoot out from the nail gun.
